Caleb Williams is the consensus projected top pick for the Chicago Bears 

Having all that encompasses the pre-draft process now in the past, the day of the 2024 NFL Draft has arrived. In just a matter of time a new group of players will enter the NFL with the opportunity to make their mark with the team that decides to draft them.

Following all the reports and rumors that surround the insurmountable anticipation of the NFL Draft, the analyzation and breakdown of the incoming prospects, speculation about which teams are taking certain players, discussion of potential trades, the moment to see what it will ultimately result in is here. 

Consensus projected first overall pick Caleb Williams seems sure to be selected by the Chicago Bears at #1, where then afterwards the Washington Commanders will be on the clock for what will wishfully be the pick that provides the answer for the future of their franchise. 

This year's draft class has shown signs of being strong in the spots of offensive tackle and wide receiver on the offensive side, in addition to the six names at quarterback that have been projected as first round picks (Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., Caleb Williams). 

Defensively the position that looks likely to carry that side of the ball in terms of names called during the draft tonight is cornerback, where a handful of players have promising traits to be considered quality prospects with first round potential.
