NFL DRAFT WATCH: POST-FREE AGENCY 2023 NFL MOCK DRAFT (MON.03.27.23)

CJ Stroud (left) and Bryce Young (right) went through their Pro Days, either will likely be #1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft
Only a month remains before the next group of players realize the dream of having their name called in the NFL Draft. The 2023 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 27th in Kansas City with the selection of the first round, followed by that of the second and third round on April 28th and the remaining picks through the seventh round coming on April 29th.

The free agency period opened a couple weeks ago as stars, starters, and other significant contributors either re-signed with or swapped teams. This serves a significant purpose as organizations are able to assess their rosters with their new additions prior to the start of the draft.

At certain schools, prospects in preparation for the NFL Draft have begun to go through their pro days. Including that of Alabama and Ohio State where quarterbacks Bryce Young and CJ Stroud performed with the aim towards becoming the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

With those combination of factors having taken place, now serves as an optimal time to project which and where players will be picked in the 2023 NFL Draft. As the actuality of the event inches near, Matt's Draft Journal does just that down below with the 2023 NFL Post-Free Agency Draft Projection.
